J D Associates is based at SCO 30 on Samrala Road in the Lalbaug area. It’s a standard commercial building and we’ve been here long enough that the postman knows us by name. The office itself is pretty straightforward. We have some desks, a few old filing cabinets that have seen better days, and some chairs for when people stop by. Samrala Road is a busy stretch, so there’s always the sound of horns and engines in the background. It’s not the quietest place to work, but you get used to it after a while. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything like that, just our name on the door. Inside, it’s mostly just us working through files and talking on the phone. Sometimes the office feels a bit small when we have too many folders out, but we manage somehow. Parking can be a bit of a struggle around here, especially during the middle of the day, so most of us try to get in early. We like the local tea stall around the corner; we go there at least twice a day. There isn't a lot of corporate fluff here. We just come in, do our jobs, and go home. It’s a basic setup that suits us just fine. We don't see the need for a polished lobby when the real work happens at the desks anyway. It’s just a normal office in a busy part of the city.
