Our facility is at No. 85 in Industrial Area A. Being in an industrial zone means it’s pretty loud during the day with all the trucks and machinery going nearby. We deal with chemicals and pharmaceuticals, so the place is set up for that kind of work. It’s a large building with a lot of concrete and high ceilings. We spend a lot of time in the warehouse section, making sure everything is stored the right way and the temperature is okay. The floor gets quite cold in the winter, so we all wear thick boots and heavy jackets. There’s a small office in the front where we handle the billing and the phone calls. It’s not very decorated, just some old calendars on the walls and a few plants that someone forgets to water. The yard outside is mostly for loading and unloading. We’ve been here for many years, and the industrial area has grown quite a bit. There’s a tea shop down the road where we go sometimes when the machines are being serviced. It’s hard work and the days can be long, but we’re used to the rhythm of it. We don’t have much in the way of fancy furniture or carpets. It’s a place for working, and that’s what we do. The gate needs a bit of oil because it squeaks every time someone comes in, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. It's just home to us now.
