Nahar Spinning Mills Ltd.

Our place is at 373, Industrial Area-A in Ludhiana. This part of Punjab is known for being loud and busy, and our mill is right in the thick of it. Nahar Spinning Mills Ltd. has been around for a long time, and the building shows its age in a way that feels comfortable to us. It is a big space, filled with the constant hum of spinning machines and the smell of raw materials. In the winter, it gets quite chilly in the large halls, so we all wear our heavy sweaters while we work. In the summer, it’s the opposite, and we keep the fans going as much as we can. We aren't the type of people to use big words or sit in fancy chairs. Most of the managers spend more time on the floor than in their offices anyway. We deal with a lot of workers and drivers coming in and out through the main gate all day long. Ludhiana’s Industrial Area-A is a gritty place, but it’s where things get made. We don't have a PR department writing stuff for us; we just write down what needs to be done on a chalkboard or a notepad. It’s a lot of hard work, and the days are long, but we’ve built a life here. Everyone knows their job, and we just keep the machines running and the piles of yarn moving out the door.
