Our place is at 52 Industrial Area A, and that’s where all the chain making happens. It’s a solid building in a part of town that’s always been about manufacturing. Indian Chain Manufacturers isn't a fancy name, but it says what we do. Inside, it’s mostly the sound of metal and machines running. We’ve got a small crew here who’ve been working with chains for a long time. It’s dusty and can get pretty hot in the summer, but that’s just how industrial work goes. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to write nice brochures. We just focus on the links and the steel we use. People send us orders, and we get them ready as fast as the machines allow. It’s a very hands-on environment. You’ll usually see a few trucks parked out front loading up. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we have to. Most of our day is spent on the floor, checking the tension and making sure nothing is breaking. It’s a basic business model that hasn’t changed much since we started. We like being in Industrial Area A because everything we need is close by. It’s a practical location for a practical trade. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s what we know best and we don’t see a reason to do it any other way.
