We are located at No. C-121, Phase-V in the Focal Point area. Being near the Focal Point Dry Port means there are trucks moving around constantly. The noise of the engines and the metal clanging is something you just stop noticing after a week. Our workshop is a big open space with a high ceiling. It gets really cold in the winter and quite hot when the sun is out, but that is part of the job. We have welding machines and cutters that make a lot of noise. The floor is concrete and always has some marks on it. Most of the guys here have calluses on their hands from moving the heavy sheets around. We don't have a fancy entrance or a lounge for visitors. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in our work gear covered in a bit of soot. We take our breaks together and talk about the local cricket matches or family stuff. The work is hard and it’s long hours, but it feels good to finish a big project. We don't use much technology for the sake of it, just what helps us cut and join the metal. It’s a basic industrial life here. We just show up, do the fabrication, and head out when the sun goes down. It isn't a glamorous business, but it is what we know.
