Indian Auto Mobiles is located right by the CMC Chowk on Brown Road in Ludhiana. It’s a very busy corner because of the CMC hospital being so close. There are always people and cars everywhere. Our shop is full of all sorts of parts for vehicles. If you walk in, you’ll see shelves reaching all the way to the top, filled with boxes of every size. We usually have grease on our hands because we are always checking parts or helping someone figure out what’s wrong with their engine. It’s a noisy place with the traffic from Brown Road constantly buzzing outside. We have a small counter where we write out the bills by hand most of the time. It’s not a modern showroom with glass walls; it’s a real auto parts shop. Sometimes it takes us a minute to find a specific part in the back because we have so much stuff crammed in there. The staff knows most of the regular mechanics who come in every morning. We talk about the weather or the local news while we look through the catalogs. We’ve been at this spot for a long time now, and we’ve seen the road change quite a bit. It’s a lot of hard work and long hours, but we like being right where the action is. Most people find us just by looking for the big CMC landmark and turning onto Brown Road.
