Incise Architects

We are located right on Mall Road at number 455. If you know the area, you know it gets quite hectic with the traffic and the people moving about. Our office is a bit of a refuge from that chaos, even though we can still hear the horns honking outside. Inside, it's mostly just the sound of keyboards and the occasional plotter printing out a big sheet. We spend our days working through design problems and trying to make sure everything lines up correctly on the screen. There’s usually a mess of pens and rulers on the table. We’ve worked on all sorts of projects around here, some big and some quite small. It doesn’t really matter the size, the work is pretty much the same at its core. You have to think about the space and how people are going to actually move through it once it’s built. We don't use a lot of big words to explain what we do. We just draw the plans and help people figure out their buildings. Being on Mall Road means we get a lot of walk-ins, which is fine, though it keeps us on our toes. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is coming up, eating snacks and staring at CAD files. It’s a decent living and we enjoy the challenge of a tricky site. We’ve been here for a good bit now and know the street like the back of our hand.
