I. L. K. Impex

You can find I. L. K. Impex at D-117/A in Phase-5 of the Focal Point area. This is an industrial part of town, so it’s mostly warehouses and factories around us. Our place is pretty much the same. It’s a functional building where we handle our imports and exports. There’s a lot of loading and unloading that goes on here. It’s often dusty and loud because of the trucks moving in and out of the Phase-5 streets. We don't have a fancy showroom. If you come by, you’ll mostly see crates and packing materials. That’s just the nature of what we do. We’ve been at this location for a while. It’s a good spot for us because the roads are wide enough for the big lorries. We are just a small crew of people making sure the orders go out on time. It’s not always easy, especially when there are delays at the port or with the transport. We don’t use any corporate jargon. We just talk about what’s in stock and when it can be moved. The office part is just a small corner of the building with a couple of desks and a kettle for tea. We focus on getting the job done rather than how the office looks. It’s a practical way to run a business in an industrial area like Focal Point. We deal with all sorts of items, so things change every week.
