Hope 1 Clinic sits right on the Main Pakhowal Road in Ludhiana. We are quite close to the Daad Bus Stand, so you can usually hear the buses pulling in and out all day long. Pakhowal Road is one of those streets that never seems to be quiet, there’s always cars and bikes zooming past. We’ve been here for a bit now, serving the people in the 141001 zip code area. The clinic itself is a practical place. We don't have any of those fancy waiting rooms with TVs or anything. It’s just rows of chairs and a desk where we check people in. We see a lot of people who live nearby or those who are just passing through the bus stand. The days can be long, starting early in the morning and going until late evening when the traffic finally thins out. We handle the usual stuff that people come to a clinic for, nothing too complicated. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to manage, but that’s just life here. We don’t spend money on big ads or flyers. Most of our visitors come because someone else told them about us or they just saw our sign while waiting for a bus. It’s a simple, honest place to work. We know our neighbors and we try to keep things running smoothly despite the noise from the road outside.
