Honey General Store

Honey General Store is tucked away on Street No 3 in Ludhiana Central. If you are familiar with the Lakkar Market area in Amarpura, you will find us there pretty easily. This part of Ludhiana is always quite busy with people moving around and the sound of motorcycles in the lanes. Our store is not very large, but we try to keep a bit of everything that a household might need on a Tuesday morning. We have things like soap, shampoo, snacks, and some basic plastic items. The pin code here is 141008, and it is a place where everyone seems to know everyone else's business. We usually spend the day sitting behind the counter, watching the people go by and helping customers find whatever they are looking for. Sometimes the rain makes the street a bit muddy, but the customers still come in to get their milk or bread. The walls of the shop could probably use a new coat of paint, but we are usually too busy managing the items on the shelves to worry about that. It is a decent place to work and we have been in this spot for a long time now. The mornings are the busiest when the local ladies come out to do their daily shopping before the sun gets too high. We just take it one day at a time, keeping the shelves stocked with whatever is in demand in the Amarpura neighborhood. It is a lot of work but it keeps us going.
