Urban Estate is a well-known area. The house number 89 is where we operate from. It’s a busy place. Ludhiana is a city that never really stops moving. We have a lot of inventory stored here. You can see the Hindware signs but it’s not a fancy mall shop. It’s a working office and a warehouse. We have a lot of dust from the main road, so we are always cleaning the desks. The staff here is like a small family. We’ve worked together for years. We know the regular customers by their first names. We don't use any scripts when we talk to people. We just tell them what we have in stock and how much it costs. The office has a few ceiling fans that hum all day. We have a small stove in the back to make tea for visitors. It’s a very straightforward way of doing things. We don't have a mission statement on the wall, just a calendar and maybe a map of the city. We focus on getting the crates moved and the bills paid. It’s honest work and we are happy to be in Sector-39. Every day is different but the goal is always the same.
