Our office is at H.No 107A in Preet Vihar Colony, which is part of the Vill-Partapsinghwala area in Ludhiana. It has a bit of a residential feel since we are operating out of a house, which is actually quite nice compared to the noisy industrial parts of the city. The office is basically just a home we use for our business operations. It makes the whole atmosphere feel a little more relaxed and less stiff. We have a small yard in the front where a few of us park our bikes every morning. Inside, it is all work with desks squeezed into the different rooms and cables running along the floors for the computers. We handle most of the local project coordination from this spot. It stays pretty quiet until the site supervisors come in to drop off their daily logs and paperwork. Then the place gets a bit chaotic for an hour or so. We drink a lot of chai and talk about the weather and how the rain might affect the concrete pours we have planned. The internet can be a bit slow sometimes because of the big trees outside, but we manage to get our emails sent. It is a friendly place to be. Most of the staff lives nearby, so we don't have to deal with long commutes. We keep things very simple here. There is no need for anything fancy when you spend your day dealing with construction materials.
