We are over at SCF-96 in the New Grain Market area. If you know Gill Road, you know how busy it gets with the big trucks and all. The grain market has its own rhythm. Mornings are the most hectic time. There’s always dust in the air when the seasons change and the crops come in. Our spot is pretty straightforward. We spend most of our time at the desks or looking through files. It’s not a quiet place, but that’s the reality of being in a commercial hub. We've seen the buildings around us get older while new ones pop up further down the road. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and wait it out, maybe chat with the neighbors. It’s mostly just us doing our thing every day. We don’t have any fancy decorations on the walls. Just the essentials. Sometimes lunch is late because someone came in with a problem that took longer than expected. That happens a lot actually. The tea stall nearby is where we spend most of our breaks. It’s a decent enough spot to work. You see all sorts of people walking by from the surrounding warehouses. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay organized among the chaos of the market outside. It's a living, you know. Sometimes the smell of grain is quite strong, and other times it’s just exhaust fumes from the transport trucks.
