Hemant Kirana & General Store

Hemant Kirana & General Store is located at Shop Number-3 in Jassian, Ludhiana. We are part of the Friends Colony area and you can find us if you are near the Duke Fashion building. The shop is on a relatively quiet street compared to the main city center, which is nice because it isn't always so loud. We started this store to provide basic daily needs to the people living in and around Friends Colony. We carry things like bottled water, snacks, detergents, and all the usual kitchen ingredients like salt and sugar. Since we are in Ludhiana, the winters get very cold and the summers are very hot, so the items we sell change a little bit with the seasons. We don't have a big corporate team or any polished advertisements. It is just us here every day from morning till night. Sometimes the delivery van gets stuck in the narrow lanes of Jassian, so we have to go out and help them unload the crates. We know most of the kids who come in to buy candies after school and their parents who come for the monthly groceries. It is a very normal neighborhood shop where things are done the old-fashioned way. We don't try to be anything we are not. We just keep the shop open and make sure we have the things that our neighbors might need at the last minute for their dinner.
