Gurbir Builders is located in Ghumar Mandi, right on the ground floor. We’re very close to the Khalsa College for Women, so the street is always full of students and rickshaws. Being on the ground floor means we get a lot of people just walking in to ask questions about construction. The office is simple. We have a couple of desks, some chairs for visitors, and a lot of photos of buildings we’ve worked on pinned to the walls. We handle construction and building work around the area. It’s a noisy spot because of the college and the market nearby, but we like being where the action is. We aren't a huge firm with multiple branches. It’s just us here. We spend our mornings checking on various construction sites and our afternoons back at the office handling the bills and the paperwork. Sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming with the number of people coming and going, but that’s Ghumar Mandi for you. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We build houses and commercial spaces. If there’s a problem, we fix it. It’s honest work and we’ve been doing it long enough that we don't feel the need to show off. Most of our clients come from word of mouth or because they passed by the college and saw our sign. We just keep it moving one brick at a time, every single day we are open.
