Gautam Fabrics

We are located over here at Bahadur Ke Road in the Gurbaksh Nagar area. If you know where the Duke Factory is, we are just around the back side of that, near Bazigar Dera. It’s a busy spot with lots of trucks and people moving around all day. We spend most of our time dealing with different kinds of fabrics. It's not a fancy place by any means. There’s usually some dust from the road and rolls of cloth piled up near the entrance. We’ve been at this address for a bit now, just handling the daily work that comes our way. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit outside for a bit on some old stools. My neighbor runs a small tea stall nearby so we usually get a cup from him twice a day. The work is mostly manual, moving heavy bundles of cloth and checking the threads to make sure they aren't tangled. It gets quite hot in the summers, especially being so close to the other big factories in the area. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure things get done. People find us mostly by word of mouth or because they were already visiting the neighborhood and saw our sign. It’s a simple setup. We try to keep things organized but when a big shipment comes in, the whole floor gets covered in fabric. It’s just how things go here in Gurbaksh Nagar. We like the area despite the noise and the constant movement.
