Gupta Paint & Mill Store

We are on Samrala Road, quite close to Shingar Palace. It is a good location with many people walking by every day. We sell various paints, but we also act as a mill store. This means we have things like belts, pulleys, and other industrial parts alongside the usual wall colors and brushes. The shop goes back quite a way, so there is actually more stock in the rear than you can see from the street. The air in here usually smells a bit like metal and rubber. We have been here for a long time now. The shelves are packed very tight with all kinds of supplies. Sometimes things get hidden behind other items, but we always find what we need eventually. We do not have a large staff, just a few of us making sure everything runs okay. The morning can be a bit hectic when several people come in at once wanting their supplies for the day's work. We go through a lot of tea while we are helping customers. It is a very practical place. We do not use computers much and prefer writing things down in our big paper ledger. It works fine for us. The floor is a bit uneven in certain spots, but that is just the character of the building. It is a working man's shop and we do not try to make it look like something it is not. When a customer brings in a broken part, we see if we can match it from our stock.
