Our Cement Division office for Grasim is located in Sector 39C of Chandigarh. If you know Chandigarh, you know how everything is laid out in sectors, and 2612 is our spot. It’s a clean, organized part of the city, which makes coming to work fairly pleasant. We focus on the cement side of the business, so we’re usually talking to contractors or suppliers all day long. The office is pretty functional. We’ve got the files, the computers, and a small table for when we need to sit down and figure things out. Chandigarh has a specific kind of pace, and we try to match it. It’s professional but not stiff. We don't go in for all those corporate buzzwords you hear in big cities. We just talk like normal people and get the orders processed. Sometimes it’s a bit of a scramble when a big project starts up, but mostly it’s just a steady stream of work. We’ve got a good group here who knows their stuff. We don't spend a lot of time on fancy presentations; we’d rather just get the logistics sorted so the cement gets to where it’s going. It’s a decent place to be, and we’ve made this sector our home for a while now. We try to keep things simple and avoid unnecessary drama in the office. It just makes the day go by faster.
