You can find us at D-98 in Phase-5 of Focal Point. It’s a pretty standard industrial plot, nothing too special about the building itself. We’ve been Gita Forgings (P) Ltd. for a long time now. The hammers are usually going from early morning, and you can hear them from the gate. In the summer, it gets incredibly hot inside the shed, but the workers are tough and they just keep moving. We don’t have a big fancy reception area or anything like that. Usually, if someone comes by, they just find us on the shop floor or in the small office near the front. We handle a lot of heavy metal here. The floor is always covered in a bit of soot and dust, which is just part of the forging process. We focus on getting the shapes right and making sure the metal is heated just enough. Sometimes the raw material delivery is late and we have to shuffle the schedule around. That’s just how it goes in this line of work. We’ve got a decent group of guys who have been doing this for years. They know the machines better than anyone. It’s a straightforward life, working with iron and fire. We don’t put on any acts. We just show up at Focal Point, do the work, and head home when the shift is over.
