Garg Traders

Garg Traders is situated right across from the Shivpuri Mandir on Shivpuri Road. It’s a good landmark because everyone around here knows the temple. Our shop isn't very big, and it’s usually packed with whatever stock we’ve just received. We deal in trading various goods, and the inventory changes depending on what’s in demand or what we can get our hands on. It’s a bit of a jumble inside, with bags and boxes piled up near the entrance. The bells from the mandir provide a nice background sound throughout the day, which is better than just listening to the trucks go by. We don't have a website or anything like that; most of our business comes from people just walking in or calling us up because they've known us for years. It’s a very direct way of doing things. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when we have a big delivery arriving at the same time a customer wants to browse, but we manage to sort it out. We aren't fancy people, just local traders trying to make a living on Shivpuri Road. The shop can get quite hot in the summer months, so we usually have a small fan rattling away in the corner. We focus on getting through the daily list of tasks and making sure the accounts are more or less correct at the end of the day. It’s a simple life, but it suits us just fine being near the temple.
