It is not the quietest place to set up, but it makes sense for us because we are surrounded by people who are working hard every single day. We wanted to be right in the middle of the action. This area has a lot of history, and it feels like the right place to focus on development and helping out. We do not have any glossy brochures or a team of professional writers. It is just a few of us here at the office trying to make sense of the needs in our community. Ludhiana is a big city, and it is easy for people to get lost in the shuffle of the industrial zones. We try to keep our doors open for anyone who needs to talk or needs a bit of guidance. It is basic work, really. We look at what is broken or what is missing and we try to find a way to fix it or fill the gap. Our neighbors are mostly factories and workshops, so there is always noise and movement around us.
