Ludhiana is a fast place, but over here in Village Sahnewal Khurd, it feels a bit more manageable. We are located right on the G T Road, which is pretty much the lifeblood of this whole region. Sobhagia Sales started because there was a need for someone to bridge the gap between the factories and the shops. We handle a lot of different goods, mostly stuff that people need for their daily business. The office is usually cluttered with samples and catalogs. We don't spend much on decorations because that isn't why people come to see us. They come because they know we have the stock or can get it quickly. My cousin helps with the accounts, and we have a couple of guys who manage the loading bay out back. In the winter, the fog gets so thick you can barely see the road, but the work doesn't stop. We drink a lot of chai and keep the heater near our feet while we process the sales orders. It's a family-run kind of vibe, even if the name sounds official. We know most of our customers by their first names and their kids' names too. If a delivery is late, we just call them up and explain why. People appreciate that honesty more than a polished email. It’s just how we do things here in Punjab. We just keep our heads down and get the boxes moving.
