G G Fabrics is located over at F-224 in Phase-VIII of the Focal Point area. If you’ve ever been down this way, you know it’s mostly just warehouses and industrial plots. It’s a busy spot with trucks coming in and out all day long. Our space is pretty basic. We have a lot of fabric rolls stacked up against the walls, and sometimes it feels like there isn't enough room to move. It’s a bit dusty, to be honest, but that’s just how it goes when you deal with this much cloth. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that. Usually, we are just in the back checking the inventory or loading up a delivery. The sun hits the front of the building pretty hard in the afternoon, so it gets warm inside. We’ve been in Phase-VIII for a while and we know most of the guys working in the nearby units. It’s a straightforward business. We just take the orders, find the right material, and get it sent out. There’s no big marketing team here, just us doing the daily work. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other days it’s quiet enough to hear the fans humming. We just take it as it comes. It's not glamorous work, but we’ve been at it long enough that we don't think much about it anymore.
