Fresh Fruit Shop

The Fresh Fruit Shop is right in the middle of Civil Line Ghumar Mandi. It’s a pretty busy area and we are right there in the thick of it. Every morning starts early, way before most people are awake, because that is when the crates come in. We spend a lot of time just sorting through things, making sure everything looks okay on the shelves. It’s a lot of lifting and moving boxes around. The floor usually has some stray leaves or bits of wood from the crates. We don't worry too much about having everything perfectly lined up as long as it's fresh. People from the neighborhood stop by on their way home from work. We know most of their faces by now. It’s a noisy place with all the traffic in Ghumar Mandi, but you get used to it. We don't have any big marketing plans or fancy logos. We just sell fruit. Sometimes the weather makes things hard, like when it’s too hot and we have to move everything inside quickly. We have a small staff and we all just pitch in where it is needed. If the shop is crowded, you might have to wait a minute, but we try to be quick. It’s just a regular shop in a regular part of town. We’ve been here at Civil Line for years and it feels like home to us now. We just try to keep the bins full and the customers happy with what they buy.
