Our place is at F-196a in Phase VIII of Focal Point in Ludhiana. Being in this part of Punjab, you’re always surrounded by industry and movement. We’ve been here for years, dealing with various goods and international trade. It sounds more complicated than it is. Mostly, it’s just us sitting in the office, making sure the paperwork for the containers is correct and the quality of the goods is what it should be. The warehouse is right next to the office, so we’re always popping in and out to check on the latest shipment. It’s dusty work sometimes, and the noise from the street is always there, but we don't mind. We have a small crew and we’ve all learned to do a bit of every job. If the loader is late, one of the office guys might go out and help move a pallet. That’s just how it is in a place like this. We don’t have time for fancy meetings or long presentations. We just want to make sure the stuff gets where it’s going on time. When the weather is nice, we sometimes sit outside on the steps for a tea break. We’ve seen many businesses come and go in this industrial area, but we just keep doing our thing, day after day. It’s not glamorous, but it’s our life and we’re happy with it.
