S G Mechanical Works is situated at D-123 in the Khanna Focal Point. We are right near the water works, which is the easiest way to tell people how to find us. If you reach the water works, you’re basically there. The shop at D-123 is where all the mechanical repairs and fabrication happen. It’s a gritty kind of place, with oil on the floor and tools everywhere. We’ve been at this spot for quite a while, and the neighbors in the Focal Point are all doing similar types of work. It gets pretty loud during the day with all the hammering and grinding going on. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know our way around the machines. The mornings start with a cup of tea and a look at what needs to be fixed first. It’s not the kind of place you’d visit for a tour, but it’s where things get made and repaired. The Focal Point in Khanna is a busy hub, so there’s always something moving around outside our doors. We just keep our heads down and focus on the task at hand. Sometimes it’s a pump that needs fixing, other times it’s something bigger. Being near the water works means there’s usually some landmark to point to when someone is lost. We like the location because it’s central to the industrial side of town. It’s just our workshop, plain and simple, and we have been here for years.
