Birdi Cycle Industries

If you come down the Focal Point Main Road, you'll find Birdi Cycle Industries at B-9. It’s a noisy spot with all the traffic and the other factories nearby. We’ve got machines running most of the day, so you have to talk loud to be heard. There is always a layer of dust on the windows, no matter how often we clean them. We make cycle parts and assemble things right here on the floor. It’s hard work, and your hands get dirty pretty fast. My uncle started this place, and we’ve just kept the same machines running for a long time. They’re old but they still work fine if you know how to treat them. The floor is concrete and has some cracks, but it’s solid enough. We don’t have a fancy showroom. If people want to see what we have, they just walk into the workshop and look around. It gets really cold here in the winter, so we drink a lot of tea to stay warm. The guys working here have been with us for years. We aren't looking to become a giant company; we just want to make sure the cycles go out right. Sometimes we run out of space and have to stack parts out in the yard. It's a bit messy, but we know where everything is. We just focus on the metal and the wheels. It's what we know best and we stick to that every single day.
