Fine Auto Industries

Miller Ganj is always loud. We are right on D P Road at number 630. My dad used to say the dust never settles here. Most days start at eight. We unlock the heavy shutters and start moving things around. There's a lot of metal here at Fine Auto Industries. You get used to the smell of oil after a while. Sometimes the trucks block the whole road and we just wait. We deal with whatever comes through the door. It is mostly regular work. We don't have a fancy office or anything. Just a desk and some chairs that have seen better days. The tea stall nearby brings us glasses twice a day. Usually, it's quite busy around noon. We keep the ledger on the table. It's just a regular place where we get things done. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we sit outside for a bit. You meet a lot of different people in this part of town. Some are in a hurry and some stay to talk. We’ve been at 630 for a long time now. It’s not much but it’s our spot. The walls could use a new coat of paint but nobody really cares about that. We just focus on the orders we have for the day. It is a long day but that is just the way it works out here.
