Filmi Duniya

Filmi Duniya is located at 16 Daryaganj. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. Daryaganj is an interesting place, especially with all the history around here. Our shop is focused on film-related items. It could be old posters or books or things like that. It’s a bit of a collection that we’ve built up over time. The shop itself is old and has that specific smell of aged paper. We don't have bright lights or a modern layout. It’s more of a place where you browse through things at your own pace. There’s no pressure to buy anything. We often just chat with people who are interested in old movies. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except for the traffic outside on the main road. The building at number 16 is quite old, and you can see it in the architecture. We don't do any big promotions or ads. People usually find us because they are wandering through Daryaganj or someone told them about us. It's not a big operation, just a few of us. We enjoy the work, I suppose, because it’s different every day. You never know what someone might be looking for. We open the shutters in the morning and wait to see who walks in. It’s a simple way to run a business. We don't have any slogans or grand plans. We just like movies and the history behind them. It’s just what we do every day at 16 Daryaganj.
