Our rooms are not very large, but they are enough for the students who come to learn English with us. You can usually hear the kids playing downstairs in the morning, which is a nice sound to work to. We spend most of our time going over grammar and helping folks speak a bit more clearly. It is just everyday work for us. We do not have any fancy signs or expensive furniture. The chairs are just regular ones and we have whiteboards that have seen better days. People find us mainly by word of mouth or because they saw the school downstairs. It is a practical place for people who really want to learn. Sometimes the street outside gets crowded with cars, especially when parents are picking up their kids from the school. We just wait for the traffic to clear and keep on with our lessons.
