Duggal Stationery & Gift Shop

Our shop is at 7-I near the Durga Mata Mandir at Kathaira Chowk. Being in Sarabha Nagar means there are always people moving around, especially with the temple so close by. You can hear the bells and the sounds of the crowd from inside the shop throughout the day. Duggal Stationery & Gift Shop is a bit of a mix of everything. We have stacks of notebooks and pens on one side and then all the gift items on the other. It gets pretty busy when the school kids come by or when there is a festival at the mandir. The floor is made of old stone and it stays cool even when it is hot outside. We have a small desk where we do all the paperwork and it's usually covered in bits of paper and half-empty tea cups. The shelves go all the way up to the ceiling so we have to use a small wooden ladder to reach the top rows. It is a bit wobbly but it does the job. We don't really bother with any big decorations or fancy music. It is just a practical place for people to get what they need. Sometimes the traffic at Kathaira Chowk makes it hard to hear ourselves talk, but you get used to it after a while. We have been here a long time and know the rhythm of the street well.
