You can find us at No. 970 B on Rajpura Road. Most people know we are near the Dhobhi Ghat, which is a very busy part of the neighborhood. The hospital building has been around for a long time and it shows its age in some spots, like the worn-down steps and the heavy doors. Rajpura Road is always crowded with traffic, so there is a constant background noise of horns and engines. Inside, the atmosphere is a bit different. We have the research center section which is usually filled with old medical journals and stacks of folders that seem to never end. The orthopaedic side is always moving, with people coming in and out at all hours. We have these old metal filing cabinets that squeak every time you open them, but they still hold everything we need. The cleaning crew is always around, trying to keep the dust from the road off the windows. It’s a big building, and sometimes the hallways feel like a bit of a maze if you aren't used to them. We have a small canteen area where the staff grabs a quick bite between shifts. It’s not the quietest place to work, especially with the Dhobhi Ghat right there, but it’s where we’ve been for years. We just keep things running the best we can, managing the patients and the research without much fuss. The address is easy to remember once you see the Rajpura Road sign and the big gates out front.
