DPS Store

The DPS Store is situated on Brown Road, right in the heart of Lakkar Bazar. If you’ve ever been to Lakkar Bazar, you know how packed and busy it gets with all the different shops and crowds of people. Our store is one of those places that has been there for ages, and the building definitely shows its age. The shelves are stuffed with all sorts of items, and sometimes it feels like the walls are actually bulging with inventory. We don't have a big fancy storefront or bright neon signs. It’s just a regular door that stays open most of the day to let in some air. A lot of regular customers come in just to chat for a few minutes as much as they come to buy anything. The air in Lakkar Bazar always has a certain woody smell to it, and we’ve grown to really like it over the years. Rather than being a giant supermarket, we stay a local shop where we know most of our customers by their first names. Sometimes we run out of a specific item and have to wait a few days for the next delivery truck to squeeze through the narrow, crowded streets. It can be a bit chaotic at times, but that’s just part of life on Brown Road. Most of the day is spent restocking shelves and helping people find what they need in the piles. This is just a simple business and we like it.
