If you head down Gill Road and turn into Street Number 3 in Muradpura, you’ll find our workshop at Unit-1-1340. It’s a busy part of the city, and there’s always the sound of metal hitting metal or someone working on a lathe nearby. We have been in this spot for a while, dealing with all sorts of mechanical repairs and custom jobs that people bring in. The shop floor is usually covered in a bit of oil and metal shavings, which is just part of the trade. We don't go in for anything fancy here. It’s just a place where we get our hands dirty and fix things. Some days we are working on small parts for local guys, and other days we might have a bigger project that takes up half the floor space. The neighbors are mostly other small businesses, so it gets pretty loud during the day. We usually have a pot of tea going somewhere in the back to share. Customers know they can just walk in and talk to us about what they need. We don't use much paperwork unless it’s absolutely necessary. Most things are handled with a quick chat and a look at the machine. It’s honest work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. When the power goes out, which happens sometimes, we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back.
