Tehsil Road is always busy. Being so close to the Government Senior Secondary Girls School means you hear the bells and traffic all day. Dhanda Hospital & Maternity Home has been around here for quite a while now. It isn't a fancy corporate building with glass walls, just a practical place on Tehsil Road where we get the work done. Jagraon is a tight-knit place, so people usually know where to find us. Usually, it's just the sound of patients coming in and the staff checking charts. We’ve got the maternity section which stays pretty active. It gets a bit crowded in the mornings when the sun is coming up over Ludhiana. The building has seen many years, and we just keep things moving along as they are. Dealing with mothers and new babies means there is never really a quiet moment, but that’s just how a maternity home goes. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in town, just a steady spot for the folks living nearby. Most people just walk in or come by rickshaw because parking on this road is a bit of a headache sometimes. It’s just us here, doing the daily rounds and making sure everyone gets seen. The walls might need a bit of paint here and there, but the equipment is what matters. We just keep our heads down and work. It is what it is.
