Deep Machine Tools

Deep Machine Tools is located at 203 Kartar Nagar, which is right behind Atam Nagar. It's a bit of a maze back here if you don't know the streets well, but once you find the building number, you’re right there. We’ve got a variety of machines running most of the time. It’s noisy and there are metal shavings all over the floor, but that’s just how a real tool shop looks at the end of the day. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby for people to sit in. You just walk in and talk to whoever isn't currently operating a lathe or a drill. We make and fix tools for various local trades and businesses. It’s a small team of us here, and we’ve all been working together for a long time. We know each other's habits and how we handle the heavy equipment. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought because the steel is tougher than expected or a machine acts up. We don't pretend to be perfect, but we stay until the work is finished properly. The neighborhood is mostly residential mixed with small workshops like ours. We see the same faces every day walking past the front door. We aren't doing any big advertising; we just do the tasks that come across the work bench. It’s a practical way to earn a living for us. If you need something specific made, we usually figure out a way.
