Dawson Sales

Dawson Sales is located at B-36 in the Industrial Estate. It’s one of those older blocks that has seen a lot of different businesses come and go over the years. The walls are a bit faded and the paint is peeling in some corners, but it’s a solid place to work. Finding the right turn inside the estate can be tricky if it’s your first time, as the signs aren't always clear and there’s usually a truck or two blocking the view of the building numbers. We’ve got a heavy iron gate at the front that squeaks every time someone opens it, which lets us know when a delivery is arriving. Inside, it’s mostly shelves and boxes. We don’t spend much on decorations because we’re too busy keeping track of what’s coming in and going out. The lighting is a bit dim in the back, but we know where everything is kept. During the monsoon, the rain hammers down on the roof so loud you have to shout to be heard, but we just carry on. There is a small desk near the front where we keep the ledger and the phone. It’s a simple setup, really. Most of our day is spent moving things around or talking to the drivers who come through the estate. It’s not a fancy corporate office, just a workspace where we get things done without much fuss. We usually keep a box of biscuits on the table for whenever the couriers stop by.
