Dawar Toys & Gift Shoppe

Dawar Toys & Gift Shoppe is located at 206 Charkhamba Road in Model Town. We are right near the Atta Chakki, so you can usually smell the fresh flour when you walk by our front door. It’s a good spot in a busy part of Model Town. As the name says, we mostly focus on toys and gifts. We have shelves full of dolls, cars, board games, and things for older people too. The shop isn't huge, so we have to stack things pretty high. It’s a family business, and we spend most of our time here. Sometimes the kids from the neighborhood come in just to look at the toys, and that’s fine with us. We know what it's like to be a kid in a toy shop. Charkhamba Road has a lot of traffic, but our shop feels like a little world of its own. We don't have any corporate training or fancy uniforms. We just wear our regular clothes and talk to people like they're our neighbors, because most of them are. If you need something wrapped, we have some paper in the back, though our wrapping skills aren't professional or anything. We just do our best. It’s been our life for many years now, and we plan to keep opening the doors at 206 as long as we can. It’s a busy, noisy, and happy place to work.
