Our workshop is at 2368, Street Number 17, in Dasmesh Nagar. It’s just off Gill Road, which is the heart of the cycle world around here. You can’t miss the sound of metal clicking and the smell of machine oil when you get close. We work on all sorts of cycle parts and frames. There’s always grease on our hands and a bit of iron dust on the floor. It’s a practical place, not a showroom. We have old benches and heavy tools that have been with us for a long time. Some days we are just welding or bending tubes from morning to night. It gets loud with the hammers and the grinders going at the same time. We don't really have a fancy office; we just use a small wooden table for the paperwork. People from the other factories on Gill Road often stop by to check on things. We’ve been in Dasmesh Nagar for many years now. The street can be a bit muddy when it rains, but we still keep the production moving. We don't talk about being the best; we just do the work that needs doing. Sometimes a batch isn't perfect and we have to redo it, but that’s just how manufacturing goes. We take a break when the chai wala passes through the lane.
