Challengers Automation

We are located at No. 1548 on Street Number 7 in Dashmesh Nagar. It's right off Gill Road. If you've been around this part of the city, you know it's full of small workshops and industrial units. Our place is one of those. We work on automation stuff at Challengers Automation, mostly putting together panels or fixing parts for bigger machines. It's not a clean-room environment; there’s usually a bit of grease and metal shavings around. That’s just the nature of the work. The shop isn't very big, but we make the most of the space we have. We’ve got a couple of workbenches and some tools that have seen better days but still work perfectly. Most of our neighbors are doing similar things, so there's always the sound of hammers or drills in the background. We usually have the front shutter halfway up to let some air in. It gets pretty hot in the summer months, especially with the machines running. We spend most of our time looking at diagrams or soldering small connections. It’s steady work. We know most of the people on the street. Sometimes we borrow a tool from the guy next door, and he does the same. It’s a community of makers. We don’t have a big sign out front, just the number on the door. It’s enough for folks to find us when they need something fixed. We usually have tea together in the afternoons.
