D K Sidwani & Co.

Our office is tucked away in Durga Puri, over in the Haibowal area of Ludhiana. It’s number 2130, right in the middle of things. If you’ve ever been to this part of town, you know it’s a bit of a maze but has its own rhythm. We’ve been operating D K Sidwani & Co. from here for some time. It’s a straightforward place. We have a few desks, some chairs for people to sit while they wait, and a whole lot of registers and files. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy with the actual work to worry about that. It’s mostly about keeping track of accounts and making sure the paperwork is filed on time. The neighborhood is pretty lively, so there’s always something going on outside our door. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the scooters passing by, but that’s just how it is in Ludhiana. We don't have a big receptionist or a lobby. It’s more of a walk-in-and-talk-to-us kind of setup. Most of our day is spent looking at spreadsheets or talking to people about their business problems. We try to keep things simple and honest. It’s just us doing our jobs, day in and day out, making sure the local shopkeepers and residents have their finances sorted without too much fuss. It is just a regular office where we do the work that needs to be done.
