Chawla Textiles

Chawla Textiles is over in Bajwa Nagar, at number 1208/1- A. We are quite close to the Ved Bharti Mandir, which makes it easy to give directions to people. Our building is a bit of a maze with all the different sections for various fabrics. It smells like raw cotton and dye most of the time. We aren't a high-end boutique with glass windows. It’s more of a warehouse vibe where we keep the stock organized on heavy metal racks. The floors are concrete and sometimes have stains from the work we do. We spend our days measuring out lengths of cloth and packing them up for transport. It’s heavy work, and our backs often ache by the end of the week. There isn't much in the way of air conditioning, so we rely on the big ceiling fans to keep the air moving during the summer months. Most of the people working here have lived in this area for years. We don't have a fancy website or a glossy brochure. If someone wants to see what we have, they usually just walk in and look through the stacks themselves. We keep things simple because that’s what works for us. It’s just a textile business in a busy part of town, doing the same thing we’ve done for a long time. We try to stay honest and just give people what they asked for without any extra trouble.
