Chawla & Company

We are located out on Chandigarh Road, specifically at Plot No 1121 in Sector No 39. It’s a bit of a drive if you’re coming from the center of town, but we like the space we have here. Chawla & Company started out small and we’ve mostly stayed that way, focused on the work at hand. The building is a basic structure, nothing that would win any design awards, but it serves its purpose. We have a lot of room for supplies and equipment. The road outside can get pretty dusty when the trucks go by, so we’re always cleaning the windows. Most of the people working here have been around for years. We know the neighbors and the local tea sellers. It’s a practical environment. We don’t have a receptionist sitting at a desk all day; usually, whoever is closest to the door just says hello. Our days are pretty repetitive, which is fine by us. We get the orders, we process them, and we move on to the next thing. Sector 39 is mostly industrial and trade-focused, so it fits what we do. There’s no pressure to look corporate here. We wear what’s comfortable and focus on the tasks. If you’re looking for the plot, it’s tucked back a bit from the main road, but the number is clear enough. It's just a regular local business doing its bit without any extra noise or marketing.
