Chanay Oil Furnace Co. is based in Janta Nagar, specifically within Industrial Area-B. This part of the city is very much a working-class area where people make things with their hands. You can hear the sounds of metal hitting metal and the roar of engines from early in the morning. Our building in Industrial Area-B is an older structure that has been around for a long time. It has a lot of history in its walls. Inside, the floors are stained from years of use and the air has that distinct smell of oil and iron. We don’t have a fancy office or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll likely find one of us working on a machine or checking on some equipment. We’ve stayed in Janta Nagar because it’s where we belong. The streets outside are often crowded with workers and delivery vehicles, making it a bit of a challenge to find parking sometimes. We just have our small sign on the door to let people know they’ve found the right place. Most of the other business owners in Industrial Area-B know us by name since we’ve been here so long. It’s a gritty and honest place to spend the day. We don't put on any acts here. We just show up in our work clothes and get through the tasks that need doing.
