You can find us at New Madhopuri in the New Sabzi Mandi area, specifically at stall 16. Life here starts very early in the morning, usually while most people are still sleeping. We deal in all kinds of seasonal fruits that come in from the farms. It’s a noisy, busy place with trucks coming and going constantly. My family has been doing this for a long time, so we know our way around the mandi. We aren't some fancy grocery store with plastic wrapping. Everything here is fresh and sold in crates or by weight. Sometimes the floor is a bit messy with discarded leaves or fruit skins, but that is just how a real fruit market works. We supply to smaller vendors and also to families who want to buy in bulk. Dealing with perishables is tough work because things spoil if you aren't careful. We have to be quick and honest about the quality of the apples or mangoes we get that day. It is hard physical labor, lifting crates and moving stuff around in the heat. But it’s good to see the fresh produce arrive every dawn. People know us at number 16. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just show up, do the work, and make sure the fruit is good. It’s a straightforward business built on long days and regular customers. Many of the people who buy from us have been coming for generations.
