Bodh Raj General Store

Bodh Raj General Store has been tucked away in Field Ganj for quite some time now. You can find us right on Kucha No.7 here in Ludhiana. It is not a very big shop, just a regular place where we sell stuff people need for their houses. We keep things like dal, rice, and different kinds of soaps. My family has been running this for years, so we know most of the people who walk through the door. The street outside can get pretty noisy with all the traffic in Field Ganj, but inside it’s just the usual business. We don't have any fancy displays or anything like that. Just shelves filled with boxes and bags. Sometimes the delivery guys are late because of the Ludhiana traffic, and we have to tell customers to come back later. It happens. We try to keep the place tidy, but with all the sacks of grain, there is always a bit of dust around. We open up early in the morning when the air is still a bit cool. It’s a simple way to make a living, really. People stop by for a packet of biscuits or some matches on their way home. We are just a local spot in Kucha No.7. There is nothing special about the building, just a shutter and some old wooden counters where we weigh things out. We don't use computers much, just a notebook for accounts. It is what it is.
