Bharti Radio & Watch Co

We run Bharti Radio & Watch Co out of a small space near the Patiala State Bank in Sherpur Khurd. It is a straightforward kind of shop. We have been working with radios and watches for a lot of years. Radios aren't as common as they used to be, but we still get people bringing in their old sets because they like the sound or have had them for decades. Watches are a bit more common. We spend our time at the back of the shop where the light is better for the fine work. Being near the bank means we see a lot of people every day. Some of them have been coming to us for a long time. The shop has a lot of history in its walls, even if it doesn't look like much from the outside. We have shelves full of old parts that might come in handy one day. Sherpur Khurd is a good place to be. It’s a bit away from the main madness of the city center but still busy enough to keep us working. We don't have any big staff, just us doing what we know how to do. Sometimes the repairs take longer than expected because parts are hard to find, but we do the work. It’s just a regular local business where we try to be helpful to our neighbors. It keeps us busy and the years go by. We are used to the pace here.
