You’ll find us near St. Francis School in the Guru Teg Bahadur Market. Being in Bhamian Kalan on Tajpur Road means it’s always loud outside. Between the school kids shouting during their breaks and the market traffic, there isn't much peace and quiet. We’ve got a small shop where we keep the elevator parts and the tools we need for the day's repairs. It’s a tight space, and sometimes we have to move three things just to get to one wrench. Elevators are funny things; they always seem to break down at the worst times, so we’re usually rushing out the door to go fix one somewhere. We don't have a big staff, just a few guys who know how to handle the cables and the motors. If you come by the office, you might find it empty because we’re all out on site. We leave a note on the door sometimes so people know when we'll be back. The market is a good place to be though, because everything we need is right here. We don't use any fancy management software; most of our notes are written on scraps of paper or just remembered. It’s a very hands-on kind of life. We deal with a lot of different buildings, from old apartments to newer ones, and every job is a bit of a puzzle. We just take it one day at a time here.
