Bengali Clinic sits on New Subhash Nagar Road in the Basti Jodhewal area of Ludhiana. This part of the city is always moving, with lots of people and vehicles everywhere. We are right by Chander Lok Colony, so we get a lot of locals walking in from there. Ludhiana is a big industrial city, and Basti Jodhewal is a busy hub. Our clinic is a simple place where we take care of people who aren't feeling well. We've been at this 141007 address for a long time. There is no corporate feel here; it’s just a small room with some benches for waiting. We spend our days listening to people talk about their aches and pains and trying to help them out. The street outside is usually full of noise from the markets and the traffic. Sometimes we have to step outside just to get a bit of air when it gets crowded inside. We don't use any fancy systems, just a paper register to keep track of who’s been in. It’s an honest way to work, and we like being part of the community here. People in Chander Lok know they can just come over if they need something. We don't put on any acts. It’s just a neighborhood clinic doing what it’s supposed to do. The New Subhash Nagar Road is easy to find if you know the area well enough. We keep the doors open and just take each patient as they come throughout the long day.
