Bee Kay Engg. Works

If you walk down Street Number 30 in Janta Nagar, you’ll find us at number 1383. It’s a tight squeeze in this part of town, especially when we have a delivery coming in or a finished piece going out. Bee Kay Engg. Works is a small operation, really. It’s just a few of us who have been doing engineering work for a long time. The building itself is nothing special, just brick and mortar that’s seen better days, but it keeps the rain off the equipment. We spend a lot of time bent over blueprints or tinkering with old tools that we refuse to throw away. The lighting isn't the best in the back, so we end up moving things near the front door to see what we’re doing. Janta Nagar is a busy place, lots of small shops like ours all crammed together, so there’s always someone stopping by to borrow a wrench or just to chat for a minute. We don’t have a receptionist or a fancy lobby. If you come by, you’ll probably find us covered in grease or stuck behind a welding mask. Sometimes we mess up a piece and have to start over, which is frustrating, but that’s just how it is with manual work. We don’t make any big promises, we just try to do what the customer asked for without too much fuss. It’s a living, and it keeps us busy from morning till night.
